In-Person Therapy in Burlingame for Youth, Parents, & Individuals
Solution-focused: relational counseling, family dynamics support, and substance use therapy with Amelia Nash, LMFT, LPCC
Have you and your loved one not been seeing eye to eye lately? Maybe there's substance use involved, or you're having conflict over other issues. It's time to let a therapist step in and help you untangle your relationship. I've worked with many people to find solutions: to help heal their relationship, or to help them step away. My clients are: parents who aren't connecting with their teen or young adult; young people who aren't connecting with their parent; husbands or wives who are struggling with their spouse at home; and anyone else who is struggling in a relationship.
Substance Use Expert
I have a background in helping people figure out their relationship with substances like alcohol and weed. Often a conflict in a relationship stems from substance use, so I'm uniquely qualified to understand the issue.
Even if the issue isn’t related to substances, it’s no fun to be in conflict with someone. Sometimes it takes an outside person to take a look at the situation and help you find solutions to move towards a more productive relationship, or to take steps to give it space. I meet with one person as the client and loved ones separately as necessary to support bringing clarity and moving the relationship forward in a positive direction.
Location
I meet with clients in person in the SF Bay Area in downtown Burlingame in my office or online.
My office is located in the heart of downtown Burlingame, directly across from the Caltrain station. This central Peninsula location offers easy access via public transit and plenty of public parking options for clients traveling from surrounding areas like San Mateo, Hillsborough, and Millbrae.
